The vocational program is essential in preparing our students to be self-sufficient and independent individuals who can contribute to their home and communities. Our vocational programs aim to equip our students with hair dressing and cosmetology skills, tailoring and embroidery, Sweater knitting, tie and dye and art and crafts making, as well as cooking. We further encourage out community members to employ our graduates from the vocational section and their parents to support their business ideas.
In addition to practical skills and in collaboration with our partner organizations, we equip our children with livelihood skills needed to transition from world of education into the world of work. People skills, entrepreneurial skills, money skills and work adaptability skills are some of the sessions we train Deaf children in.
